BRANDING ASSETS
Assignment:
Begin creating art assets and overlay elements that will accompany your live stream. If using Twitch, also look at the profile pages for other streamers within your genre to gain ideas about what types of content should be included on your own profile. Things such as about & bio should be considered, potential schedules, profile icon/avatar, start/standby screen, initial overlay elements, etc. Create a design blog post highlighting the branding assets you are creating with brief text-based descriptions for everything.

After conducting a poll through Instagram stories, 20 people voted for cooking streams and 35 people voted for streams around my small business, so I decided to go with that! This is also what I was leaning toward because it is more unique and personal to me!
1. Social Media - I wanted to include all of my social handles in the bottom corner of the screen while I’m streaming so viewers know where they can follow and find me!
2. My logo, the date, and today’s topic! I wanted to include these things in the bottom left corner of the screen. I think this will be really helpful for both me and viewers during the stream so people know what I'll be talking about if they come in late and for reference when looking back at my streams I'll know the date and topic! I like that this can be very easily changed for whatever the stream is going to be.
3. Starting screen - This screen will include both of the above assets as well as a countdown timer. I wasn't sure what this would look like, but I would love to make this to be a video loop and have the clouds moving in the background. Until I have that, I will use this screen! I also want to play music in the beginning while people wait but I’ll have to do some research on what’s okay to play/if I even can do that.
4. Ending screen - This is what I’ll show at the end of my videos to thank people for watching so i don’t cut out immediately. This also prompts them to check out my social media accounts and shop! I’ll have a coupon code at the end of the stream for a discount on my shop as an extra thank you that will expire within the next 24 hrs in order to drive traffic to my shop and promote it as best as I can!
5.Profile and schedule - I will adjust my profile on twitch to be my brand while still ensuring that people understand that it will be more behind the scenes streams as well as business tips. This is currently a rough list of topics I'd like to cover and as I think of more I will add them to the list!
