GROUP LIVESTREAM WEEK 1

Assignment:

Script,  prepare, and schedule for this weeks group-based live stream production.  Once prepared, go live at your scheduled time and conduct your stream.  Streaming sessions should likely be 30 minutes on the sorter end and up to 2 hours or more on the longer end.  Experiment and take note of what is working well and what is not.  Be sure to archive your stream on Youtube and link to this week's stream from your design blog.

My group consists of Sophia and Allison, and we called our channel                                 . Every Tuesday at 1pm, we plan on trying a viral trend on Tik Tok. For our first stream, we decided to learn three of the most popular Tik Tok dances: Renegade, Cannibal, and What You Know 'Bout Love. Allison had drafts of each dance that she showed us and then she went though each dance step by step. Once we all felt comfortable, we danced to the music a few times to really nail it down!

We had a technical difficulty with not being able to hear sound on Zoom, so she just played the music through her phone and had the mic pick up the audio. Something that worked well was that we had a starting scene and a second scene with our three videos and then a space for the dance that was being shown. I noticed our videos were a little small and the rectangle wasn't quite the right size, so for our next stream, I think it could be nice to make those a little bigger and make the rectangle the right size. We also want to implement a countdown timer for our beginning scene!
