GROUP LIVESTREAM WEEK 3
Assignment:
Script, prepare, and schedule for this week's group-based live stream production. Once prepared, go live at your scheduled time and conduct your stream. Streaming sessions should likely be 30 minutes on the sorter end and up to 2 hours or more on the longer end. Experiment and take note of what is working well and what is not. Be sure to archive your stream on Youtube and link to this week's stream from your design blog.

This week we wanted to show our FYPs! We went live during class on 4/12/21 and each of us took about 10 minutes showing our For You pages. Some videos sparked interesting conversations around social justice issues which I really enjoyed talking about. We got 12 viewers during this stream which is more than what we're used to, and we muted ourselves before and after this time so there wasn't background noise while we were waiting for our stream to start! We had to workaround screen sharing our FYP through Zoom and I had to create a bunch of different browser sources. We found that the computer was the best option, and when it was my turn I couldn't screen share because it would stop the videos on OBS. In the end, we got things to work pretty well, and it went smoothly.
