INDIVIDUAL LIVESTREAM WEEK 3

Assignment:

Script,  prepare, and schedule for this week's live stream production.  Once prepared, go live at your scheduled time and conduct your stream.  Streaming sessions should likely be 30 minutes on the sorter end and up to 2 hours or more on the longer end.  Experiment and take note of what is working well and what is not.

My third stream was on Saturday, February 27th at 7 pm MST. This was the longest stream I have ever done being around an hour. I started by showing how I like to stay organized using Notion and how to calculate shipping costs based on the items you've bought. Then, I showed a few websites that I like to get my packaging from that are eco-friendly and offer a variety of shipping supplies. After that, I moved to my desk and showed each element of my packaging. Looking back, the lighting was very harsh and washed out some of the text and color. I was afraid it was going to be too dark, but I ended up overcompensating and the opposite ended up happening. I packaged an order and printed some freebie stickers I like to include with my orders and are an extra element of my packaging. Finally, I redesigned my eco-friendly cards on Canva because I got seed-paper I wanted to try out. When I tried to cut it, my machine wasn't able to do it, so I decided to end the stream there.

I have a new room layout and moved my desk so it was in line with another table I have. This made things a lot easier overall and I was able to easily move my webcam from looking down on my desk to my printer and finally at my Cricut.

Archived YT Video of my Stream:

When it came to lighting, I have been streaming at night since that's when most people said they were available. However, this doesn't provide the best lighting as you can see in my stream. I decided my next stream will be in the afternoon, so I can utilize more natural lighting. Here are my before and after screenshots after editing the lighting.
